Oh hai.

Oh hai there...
This is my blog. Welcome to it.
This is the disclaimer for reading my blog:
I am an emotional teenage girl. I am a teenage girl. We get way too invested in stuff that probably will hurt us in the end. We're stupid. We fall for boys too easily. Every stereotype i can think of is supposed to go right here. So don't judge me, because I won't judge you. I have a relationship with God, but i need to grow it. And my friends are helping me do that... Shout out to Bethani. <3 I think this is the end of my disclaimer.
Okay, continue reading. But bear in mind. This stuff is on my blog because i need to vent or share something with a few people, NOT because i want the world to know. It's here because it's stuff i can't tell my family or church friends, or even some school friends. It's here so you guys can know the real me.
Okay, now that i've been all deep and sentimental and crap, enjoy. :)

Music and an Analysis of my moods.

What is it about music that people love so much?
Is it the way it sounds, sort of like television for our ears?
Is it the words, saying stuff we've longed to express but never quite been able to vocalize?
Is it the stories portrayed, like in love ballads, that make us wish for true love?
Is it the pain expressed that we can sympathize/empathize with?
Whatever it is, people love music. I suppose i like it because a lot of it is relate-able and says words I want to say but never dream of saying to certain people. *cough cough*
That was the topic I was going to post about earlier, but then family came and stuff got crazy and I just never bothered to post again. Hmm. Anyway, before I forget about it, I bought Alex Day's album "Parrot Stories" on iTunes today. You guys should check it out, his music is pretty relate-able.
-sigh- Ever had one of those days that's so amazing, you want to do it again but you know somewhere in the back of your mind that maybe, things will change? I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy. Could be that.
But really, I've been really happy all week for the past week and a half or so, and now tonight, I just sort of crashed. Not happy anymore.
If anyone knows where my happy went, I'd like it back. I'm yearning to see Ty, (we had a deep conversation the other night, but that's something that shouldn't be said, as i posted about the other day.) yearning to see all my friends, (TRIO!) and just go back to being crazy and fun at school instead of bored and sleepy at home.
Quite pathetic, really.
I suppose I'll go now, because I don't really have anything to say.
Love you guys.

Philosophy for Dummies

I wonder what would happen if i just sorta started to change the way I post; post more like Janae. (shout out- check out her blog.) Would my followers think differently of me? Would anything change? Would I suddenly have HATERS? Gah, heaven forbid. Haha, as if I don't already have haters.
Anyway, that was besides the point.
So tell me guys, what would happen if I changed my posts? I think things would be more... Interesting, I suppose. Now, that I'm done being all philosophical and crap, let me do my usual recap of the past couple days.
Mainly, of last night. :)
So. Yesterday, around 4-ish, Janae came over. We did a whole lot of nothing at first, then danced like maniacs, then crawled around on my roof, (fun stuff, if I ever figure out how to post videos, I will. You guys would laugh.), and messed around on the golf course until food arrived. :) Yay, food.
Then closer to 6:30, we went back out to the golf course in the dark and messed around, exploring, rolling down hills, climbing (and falling out of) trees, hiding golf balls in said trees, and attempting to write letters in the sand traps.
Ah, twin-bonding time. The best.
I suppose that is all I have to say for now, BUT I'll work on uploading the videos.
Stay golden.

Epiphany

So today, while Janae was at my house, (She still is, it's 2:21 AM.) i had an epiphany.
There are things that don't need to be said to anyone; things that need to stay between 2 people.
Things that I don't need to post on my blog, things that I should treasure in my heart and keep secret.
I guess that's all i have to say right now, I just felt like I should let you all know this.
Stay awesome, my friends.

Christmas and my elbow and Hipsters and weird movies and Cousin love.

Yeah, the title says it all. So i'll do my best to address the topics mentioned above in the order they appear.
Christmas- I spent actual Christmas day with my dad and his family, which was super fun. We opened many presents, ate much food, and laughed A LOT. One thing i love about my cousins is all our inside jokes... "Skeletor" and "HE MAN!", "redrum" and "HIPSTER!" and "it's pretty obscure...", "The Cackle" and "Swagger". It goes on and on, but those are the funniest ones. :) I got an iPod nano from Grandma Gerrie, the Hunger Games books from my dad, and many other things that don't compare to iPods or amazing books.
(Mom Christmas)- Mom Christmas included a trip to fu...FREAKING DISNEYWORLD, a flip camera, a Jayhawk Pillow Pet, and some lotion. Yeah buddy. Still haven't gotten that new phone yet, however. Hmph.
My Elbow. It's sprained. Badly. I can't bend it very far without making strange pain-induced noises. I sprained it attempting to kick a soccer ball and falling on my back in the slush in Kansas.... And that's why I don't play soccer anymore.
Hipsters! If you don't know what a hipster is, well, 1) you're deprived and 2) google it. According to Korey, Brek, Kiefer, and Jack, I'm a hipster. Korey and Brek and Kiefer are hipsters too though, so it's okay. Jack... Well, we haven't decided about Jack yet. He's a sweet kid though, very funny. He'd be the ideal guy to marry someone's kid off to, because he's rich and smart and has a non-broken family, etc. But anyway, I'm a hipster now.
Weird Movies. Weird indeed, bro. Weird indeed. I watched The Shining, (funny and scary at the same time. Redrum!), Resivor Dogs (lots and LOTS of blood, lots of guns, and lots of foul language. It didn't make much sense either, but it was funny.), Due Date (HILARIOUS. Lots of blood and foul language though.), and a whole lot of weird YouTube videos. Look up CreepyPasta if you're home alone and bored... Or don't, if you're faint of heart.
Cousin Love! Korey and Kiefer are probably the best cousins one could ask for. They're so much like my older brothers it's scary.. That's all i have to say for now.

PS- Merry Christmas. :)

Teenage Angst.

Did anyone ever tell you that the reason teens are so emotional is because their lives are a whole lot stressful than people think?
That, and we're pretty much running on hormones and caffeine, but still.
Hmm, i just realized I've been spelling caffeine wrong for quite some time now. Who knew it had another "e"?
That aside, back to Teenage Angst.. So let's recap the past couple weeks, shall we?
Wait. Disclaimer. Remember how i said on my home page that thsi is basically my venting method until i get a shrink or something? (Well, not the shrink part, but the venting part.) Well, yeah, this is my ventilation device. So here goes. (To Beth and Mel- i kept this from the Trio because i didn't want to upset you guys. Seriously.)
Okay. Well, i would start at last Friday, but i remember very little of it. I remember the important parts- talking to Ty after school, :), sippin on drinks with my mom at PF Chang's and sorta tripping as i went down the stairs, (lol.) and falling asleep at like 1.
Monday- Went to school, blah blah blah, did work, blah blah blah, oh, after school. Conversation time!
No, forget it. I actually did type out the entire convo, and summaries of what i remember from Tuesday and Wednesday, but I won't make ya'll suffer through that. It just makes me seem like a ho, and we don't want that, do we. The answer is no. All I'll say is that i have kissed or been kissed by ** every day this week, except today, for reasons that i shall not go into. (It's nothing bad, don't let your imaginations go too crazy.) This morning, we had a super deep talk (no joke.) and it only made me feel worse for him because he's in so much pain. It's like the stereotypical popular guy at school- he has pretty girls, popular friends, he's athletic, hot, funny, smart, and basically good at everything, but, he's hurting on the inside. Bad. And if you're lucky, if he knows he can trust you enough, he'll let you have a peek into his heart. Probably because he knows a peek is all i can take... The kid is under so much stress and pressure that he fakes basically everything. He fakes happiness, 'swagness', and everything else that makes him popular. He's just your average sad boy, who needs someone to talk to... And this morning, i guess i was just that. I want to talk to him more. I want to be able to do something about his hurt, because it was one of the first things we talked about the night we met... Ah, that night. Must not get distracted...
Geez, when i titled this post Teenage Angst, i didn't think i would waste almost an entire hour typing out all my problems, then erasing them, then typing more stuff, then erasing that. I left the simplest parts, the least emotional parts because after all, this is the internet, and the internet is forever.

Hmm.

Guuuyyyyyyyys. Pamper-time is so great.
I know, i know. I sound like a major girly girl. But seriously? After like 6 months of not taking a BATH (i shower. duh.) i took a bath tonight, and the water was super hot and relaxing and i listened to my Weezer music and painted my nails and got all lotioned up and washed my face and it was like being in a spa. And if you've been around me the past two days, you know I've been in super good moods today and yesterday. This whole relaxing thing is doing me a whole lot of good. I even feel prettier, which is probably really funny but i think it's amazing. I love it, i love it, i love it. Despite the cold weather, despite how much crap I've taken about my breakup with Blake, despite all the emotional "stress" around me, I feel fantastic! It could be God, however, as my lovely cousin Manny has been praying for me (she asked me the other day how she could pray for me, so i told her. and it seems to be working.) and things have been going spectacularly ever since. I don't have much to say tonight, but i'll type a whole lot more tomorrow. I love you guys.
Here's to Katie, Melodie, and Bethani------ i love you guys. <3

ugh.

Well, i figure since i haven't posted in a while, i should probably do that. Here's to you, Bethani.
So today started out being good. Some random guy gave me a hug, Tolson gave me a good hug, (rare for him.) and i got out of most of my classes because i was gone on an art field trip.
Side note-art field trips are actually really fun.
Anyway, i don't really have much to say.
Oh i went to Bethani and Morgan and Hope's church last night. LOVED IT. :) Their church is smaller than mine, and it makes it seem more like a close family gathering than a concert. But concerts are good too. So anyway, Morgan is a pretty cool cat. Found out today he's a sophomore. Didn't surprise me, really. It just surprised me that he hangs out with freshmen. Also at their church, i met the male version of myself.
no joke.
But that's not what i posted this post to talk about... I'll get to that later.
Right now, i gotta say, WAP is definitely developing. If any random Boswell goers are reading this, meet in Danielson's room, L209, from 4:15 to 5 on Thursdays to hang out with some crazy awesome people, hear a little Jesus-talk, and have a good time. Honestly, it's really fun. Hayden is a good preacherguy.
Oh and some ladies need to just chill. So today after WAP, something similar to this went down:
Me: OMG, run! It's about to get serious! *throws stuff down* Janae, hold mah stuff!
Melodie: Gurl, ima beat you...
Both: loljk.
Melodie: *points to custodian downstairs* Oooh that thing looks so fun! i want one!
Mean teacher lady: Were you guys just yelling at that custodian?
Me: Uh, no. We were yelling at each other.
MTL: Well it sure looked like it.
Me: We weren't. >:|
MTL: Oh yeah, you just happen to be pointing at him? Is that it?
Me: (OMG.) NO. We were yelling at each other, and you came out here at exactly the wrong time. Melodie was pointing at him and saying "Oh that's cool, i want one." We wouldn't do something like that.
MTL: Well whatever. You guys need to go home.
Me: ......

GAHH. I mean, i would have done the same thing if i were her, but still.
Oh and while i'm typing things i'll probably regret posting later:
Blake and I broke up.
I know, i know. shame on me.
Well, i'll tell you why i did it.
I was losing feelings for him big time, i guess it was just a crush and nothing real. So i decided better to break up with him and hurt him a little now than fake a relationship and hurt him a lot later.
Simple.
You can hate all you want, i believe i did the right thing.
Enjoy that tidbit.
